【非華裔學生政府部門實習計劃】
【學以致用 認定未來發展意向】
公務員事務局自2019年起推出為非華裔大學生而設嘅實習計劃，安排同學到不同嘅政策局或者政府部門實習，畀佢哋累積工作經驗，為未來生涯規劃做好準備。公務員事務局會參考同學所修科目，盡量安排一個能夠畀佢哋實踐相關學術知識嘅工作崗位實習。

今年嘅實習生之一Sheik Mahmood Afif (Afif)獲派到數字政策辦公室，協助智慧政府創新實驗室嘅日常運作，包括編寫電腦程式用嚟分析已收集嘅人工智能方案。正喺大學修讀計算機工程嘅Afif認為，實習工作範疇同佢就讀嘅學科息息相關，令佢能學以致用之餘，亦加強佢喺科技相關行業發展嘅意向，佢非常推薦其他非華裔學生參加呢個實習計劃。

Internship Programme for Non-ethnic Chinese Students:
Apply knowledge to work Identify future development interests

The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has launched an internship programme for non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) students since 2019. NEC students will be arranged to work in various government bureaux/departments to accumulate work experience and get prepared for their future career planning. The CSB would take into account the subjects they are studying and arrange positions that allow them to apply their academic knowledge into practice as far as possible.

Sheik Mahmood Afif (Afif) is one of the interns this year. He was posted to the Digital Policy Office (DPO) and assisted with the daily operations of the Smart Government Innovation Lab, including developing AI analysis tools. As a university student studying computer engineering, Afif appreciates that the internship is highly relevant to his studies, allowing him to apply his knowledge to his work and strengthening his interest in pursuing a career in a technology-related field. He recommends other non-ethnic Chinese students to participate in the programme.
