Let's explore political rights
This right applies specifically to the democratic version of human rights, encompassing the right to participate in the local administration and central government of our country. Let’s check few examples of political rights.
Number 1: The right to vote & participate in elections
Every citizen has the right to vote in elections from the age 18 and above. We can also participate in elections at the age of 25 as a representative of the constituency.
Number 2: The right to freedom of expression
Every citizen has the right to express his or her opinion in the family, school or society.
Number 3: The right to equality in the eyes of the law
There should be no discrimination by race, religion, men, women, occupation or physical ability in the eyes of the law.
Number 4: The right to receive protection abroad
When abroad, if any citizen faces problems he or she has the right to get security from their home country.
Number 5: The right to individual freedom
Every citizen has the right to do what they want, provided that he or she is not violating any laws and so long as it does not harm anybody else.
