Waste Burning effect on Global Climate

Bhoomithan is leading a grassroots campaign against waste burning. Training and resources were provided to our team of 8 Community Green Warriors to engaged directly with the community of Budhanilkantha municipality to tackle this issue of waste burning.

During our interventions, we encountered resistance from those burning waste, who believed it was their right on their property to burn waste. But the truth is, the consequences of waste burning extend far beyond property lines, affecting us all globally.
