I wrote this song with Angel the day we met. We instantly got along and instantly divulged all of our #boyproblems to each other. The result was 'Jealous'. I intended for this song to come from the perceptive of someone I had dated who was being v sassy towards me at the time. It was clear to me that his attitude stemmed from jealously, not malice and that he wasn't particularly happy with his moody behavior. When I sang the demo I put myself in his shoes. But I didn't record the official vocal for this song for months and by the time I went in to cut it I was feeling very jealous/sassy myself and the song took on a whole new (and more personal) meaning.
