यह संघर्ष की कहानी एक ऐसे इंसान की है, जिसने छोटे क़दमों से Bollywood तक का सफर तय किया | जो इंसान 8 वर्ष की आयु में अपने घर से बिन पैसे अकेला भाग गया हो उसकी ज़िंदगी के असल संघर्ष और जुनून की यह एक हैरान करदेने वाली कहानी है| पंकज गुप्ता की कहानी की शुरुआत होती है जब वह 8 साल की उम्र में अपने घर से भागकर नई दिल्ली आये थे | कारण ? उनके पिता शराबी थे और उन्हें और उनकी माँ को बहुत पीटा करते थे | जब लोग पढ़ाई और खेल कूद में अपना बचपन व्यतीत करते हैं, उस उम्र में उन्होंने कबाड़ी बीनने जैसे कार्य कर के अपने परिवार को सहारा किया | उन्हें बहुत गुस्सा आता था जब उनके पिता उनके मेहनत के कमाए हुए पैसों को शराब पे खर्च कर देते थे | तभी उन्होंने नई दिल्ली आने की ठान ली | बिना पैसों के, वह सलाम बालक ट्रस्ट तक पहुंचे | वहां आने के बाद उन्होंने पढाई और Theatre में अपना ध्यान लगाया | उन्होंने ओम पुरी और आदिल हुसैन के संग TV Shows में काम किया | उन्हें इन कामों से जो पैसे मिलते थे, वो अपने पिता जी के इलाज के लिए बचाते थे | कुछ ही दिन बाद उनके पिता जी का देहांत हो गया और पंकज को बहुत दुःख हुआ की वो कुछ नहीं कर पाए | #motivationalstory #joshmotivation #joshtalkshindi
अपने 12 वी के बाद, उन्होंने सोच रखा था की वो National School of Drama में जाकर Actor बनेंगे | जब वो वहां गए, तो उन्हें फॉर्म नहीं दिया गया क्युंकि उनके पास graduation की degree नहीं थी | तब उनके दिमाग में यह प्रश्न उठा की क्या degree के बिना कोई actor नहीं बन सकता ? उन्होंने graduation न कर अपना खुद का रास्ता खोजने की कोशिश की | उन्होंने तय किया कि वो अपने practical experience से actor बनेंगे | उनके रास्ते में बहुत सारी कठिनाइयां आईं, पर उन्हें वो करना था जिससे उन्हें सबसे ज़्यादा लगाव था, और वो थी Acting |
आज वह बड़ी Bollywood Films में काम कर रहे हैं |
वह NGO के बच्चों को Theatre सिखाते हैं और अपनी एक theatre academy खोलना चाहते हैं |

Pankaj Gupta's struggle story to follow your passion and dreams to find success will move you. His rags to riches story started when he ran away from his house at the age of 8 to go to New Delhi. He lived with an abusive, alcoholic father who used to beat him and his mother. He worked as a ragpicker and did other small chores to support his family in his childhood but his father spent all his money on alcohol. That's when he fled with no money in his pocket to go to Salaam Balak Trust to Delhi. He started studying and doing theatre. He found his passion and dream to become an actor. He worked with famous and talented actors like Om Puri and Adil Hussain as a child. His next step was to enter NSD to become an actor and enter Bollywood.
After Class 12, he went to NSD to fill the form. He faced rejection for not having a graduation degree. He thought, "Is a Degree Necessary to Become an Actor?". So, he decided to learn new things in filmmaking and acting over going to a graduate school. People would question him how he would work without having a degree. He knew he had chosen the hard way, full of obstacles, but believed that his practical experience will lead him to small steps to success.
He has worked in Big Bollywood Blockbusters like Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Road to Ladakh and more.
From selling rags to owning a house and pursuing his passion, he has come a long way.
He teaches theatre to kids in an NGO and plans to open an academy of his own for aspiring actors.
He believes if you want something, you need to put effort and a degree is not the door to everything. Your hard work and experience will lead you to success. and you can lead a happy and successful life. Hard work will lead to success, hard work pays off.
