We both care deeply about the state of Indian football and this is your chance to help a movement that aims at the heart of the Indian grassroots football system while making a real difference in the lives of thousands of underprivileged people all over the country.

The Homeless World Cup is an annual football tournament that brings together teams comprising of underprivileged people from 64 different countries. Slum Soccer and Team India have been a part of the family since 2007 and have played in tournaments in Copenhagen, Milan, Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Poznan and Santiago.

Team India is currently ranked 33rd in the world ahead of traditional powerhouses Spain and Japan. We achieved our best ever finish of 29th in Poznan and have won the Community Cup in Paris '11 and the Futbol Calle Cup in Santiago '14. In addition, the team has won a number of other honours as well - the Fair Play Trophy in Rio de Janeiro '10, Best Female Player (Disha Lohabare) in Milan '09, UEFA Award for Best Coach (Akshay and Dhaval) in Santiago '14.
