The Ninjago city theme has some of the best buildings in LEGO — but they're hard to integrate with a regular LEGO city. Most cities we've seen keep Ninjago city sets separate from the main city, off to the side. But we think there's a better way to show off these beautiful buildings. In this video, we show how to:
estimate the volume of materials we have, to resize the Ninjago buildings to fit a standard footprint
change the angle and cantilevering of the buildings, to keep the Ninjago flavor but still make the buildings neat enough to fit well with other city themes
expand existing mini-builds to fit the larger LEGO city footprint
add new mini-builds, like a LEGO pay phone, a brick-built barber sign, and a LEGO climbing wall
integrate pink frogs
do this all in less than a day!
