We recently stayed at Tru by Hilton on the Galveston Seawall. I’ve heard complaints about the hotel but it was fine for us.

We stayed in a King Ocean View Balcony room and the view was gorgeous. The road noise and 4 AM Fire Alarm (false alarm) was not fun so bring a sound machine.

The room was spacious, sheets were clean, free breakfast, and self parking is only $10 per night.

I’d recommend this place for clients and myself for future stays.
