1. Girnar Mountain :-
Girnar is the abode of eighty-four Siddhas, the austerity ground of yogis and the cradle of faith for saints. Saints and monks have been choosing Girnar for chanting for thousands of years. Even today, Siddha Mahatmas who have been doing penance for years can be seen in the forests of Girnar. Girnar Mountain is located 5 km from Junagadh city. It is 1,031 meters high and has 10,000 steps. Girnar Mountain is a holy place for followers of Hindu and Jain religions, and there are many temples and pilgrimage sites on this mountain.
2. Dattatreya Temple :-
Guru Dattatreya is a great yogi of Hinduism and a form of the Trimurti. He is considered to be the joint incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Dattatreya is considered to be the pioneer of various yoga paths and the ideal form of self-knowledge. Dattatreya is the son of Maharishi Atri and Mother Anasuya. As a result of Mother Anasuya's penance, the Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) jointly incarnated in the form of Dattatreya.
3. Navnath :-
Navnath is a series of great yogis and pilgrimages in India, primarily associated with Hindu philosophy and yoga. The Navnath order is traditionally a compilation of nine great Nath yogis who dedicated their lives to the philosophical path, meditation and spiritual pursuits.
They include
Matsyendranath, Gorakhnath, Nikulanath, Kapaleshwar Nath, Jogi Nath, Hinglaj Nath, Ravananath, Anjananath, Bail Nath.
4. Bhavnath Temple :-
Bhavnath is one of the main Shiva temples of Saurashtra. Bhavnath Temple and Mrigi Kund are located in the forested environment at the foothills of Girnar. According to folklore, one of the 8 immortal souls, Ashvatthama, takes a bath in the Mrigi Kund at midnight on Maha Shivaratri. Bhavnath Temple is located on the rocky part of Girnar mountain.
The origin of ancient Shiva temples is mostly not available. There is also a similar story about Bhavnath Temple, where old Shiva temples were established in dense forests or far from settlements.
5. Ambaji Temple :-
This land is better known as a 'Shaktipith'. There are 2 ways to reach the temple, in which the first is via Udankhatola, you can go by taking a ticket of 700 rupees. The second is by foot... If you go by foot, you have to climb 5000 steps. Then you reach the temple of Mataji. Especially on the day of Navratri, a huge crowd is seen here.
6. Jain Temples :-
Jain temples on Girnar mountain are very sacred and historically important places. The ideals and excellence of many Jain Tirthankars and Gurus are symbolized on Girnar mountain. There are many temples of Jain religion on this mountain, which are considered important pilgrimage places for the followers of the Jain sect.
7. Girnar Parikrama :-
The Girnar Parikrama, which starts from Bhavnath Taleti, 5 km from Junagadh, lasts for 5 days. And ends on the day of Dev Diwali. In which a large number of devotees come from different places. And feel blessed by doing the Parikrama.
8. Macchendra Nath :-
Macchendra Nath was a great yogi and philosophical guru of the Navnath sect. He holds a prominent place in Indian religion, yoga, and philosophy. Macchendra Nath is remembered for his yoga teachings and propagation of the religion. He is particularly known as a legendary guru of the Nath Panthi, Hatu Yoga, and Navaka Yoga traditions.
9. Gorakhnath :-
Gorakhnath was a Hindu yogi, philosophical guru and a great guru of the Nath sect. He is famous as a great leader of the Nath tradition and is known for his yogic powers and philosophical teachings. His spiritual guidance is still followed today by people learning about yoga and spirituality.
