Maeglin - The Calling Of The Soul (full demo, 2022)

Our second feature of this week’s Dungeon Synth Sunday, is a new project from the irrepressible Elminster, with a single long-form track to debut Maeglin.

The Calling Of The Soul journeys the listener deep into a mysterious and eerie world of pine forested drone and flickering shadow ambient and inspired flourishes of percussion. The combination of leaf and light, and the slow passage of time create an otherworldly atmosphere, and the tangible sensation of an approaching, encroaching presence.
