🪴 This is an unedited, real-time gardening video filmed in Shizuoka, Japan. The camera is left running for about an hour as I reinforce a bamboo pea trellis using biodegradable twine, then cut back and clean up a row of green tea plants growing along a flood channel behind my house. There is no narration—only natural outdoor sounds.

The morning begins around 9 a.m. with finishing work on the garden peas. Bamboo poles form the trellis, originally tied with antique hemp rope purchased at a flea market. The hemp proves too flimsy, so I reinforce the structure with twine, keeping everything biodegradable and ready to support the plants as they grow.

After that, I move to the old line of green tea plants along the flood channel, cutting back growth and clearing debris at the base with the long-term goal of shaping a healthy green tea hedge. I also spend some time clearing leaves and buildup from the channel itself. The work ends around 10:30 a.m., leaving the garden more open, orderly, and ready for spring.
