Airport Connector - Montour Trail

Описание к видео Airport Connector - Montour Trail

It’s possible to reach the Pittsburgh International Airport on the Montour Trail. Pretty Cool, eh? This six mile (all paved) branch is mostly "on-road", but 5 miles is on low (No Outlet) streets or security-gated (Private) no public-traffic roads. Total elevation change is 276 feet up and 85 feet down.

There is a half mile section on Clinton road (95 feet up) with a short narrow berm just before the Dollar General store - so if you are uncomfortable with road riding or weave at all, then I don't recommend going out on Clinton road. Go on an early Sunday morning (or other low traffic situation) or consider turning around. See link below for more details. @TrailBikerFilms

If link not working, try: https://montourtrail.org
Then "Trail & Maps", then "Airport Connector" (near the right bottom of the page).

At the airport, use the Crossing Warning signal (press a button) to go across the high speed airport exit lanes. This is only an alert and does not stop traffic - so ensure there is enough time and space to cross safely.

The video utilizes the GoPro TimeWarp feature, and goes "real-time" in critical portions (to read signage, show which way to go, etc.).
