Pan Pastel & Pastel Pencil: Lioness resting in tree

This portrait of a lioness is taken from a reference photo taken in Uganda by my niece, Cammie Akins. Used the Zorn palette of Pan Pastels for the background and the base of the lioness. I worked on a blue sheet of Canson MiTientes pastel pencil (the smooth side).

The following are the colors of pastel pencils I used (Derwent, Generals and Faber Castell)
Derwent: Carbon Black, Sepia, Raw Umber, Titanium White, Chocolate, Yello Ocre, Burnt Umber, Dioxazine Purple
Generals: Chalk White
Faber-Castell: 103,131,183,194,283
