358 - The HARDEST Manoeuvre We've EVER Had to in Our Narrowboat, Tidal River Trent To West Stockwith

In this length video, we travel all the way from Southrey to West Stockwith basin on the Chesterfield canal, a total distance of 38 miles. First, we go for a nice leisurely cruise to Washingborough, where we stayed for the night then its 14 miles to Torksey lock, which joins the tidal River Trent. Passing through the lovely city of Lincoln and its glory hole! Once we reach Torksey and go through we get hit by an almighty thunderstorm, then its 14 miles downstream to West stockwith, passing the town of Gainsborough, where we get a lovely welcoming from the locals, finally we reach Stockwith, getting into it with the tide going out at 6mph was another thing altogether.
