The 25-year-old man who pleaded guilty to kidnapping, raping and murdering six-year-old Amantle Samane, is set to hear his fate at the Johannesburg High Court on Monday.

Phethe Simiao will appear before the court for sentencing on these charges and for contravention of the immigration act.

The inquest investigating who should be held liable for the Highgate hotel attack that took the lives of five people, leaving many others injured in May 1993 is expected to resume at the East London special tribunal today.

The trial of the six men accused of the murder of 18 people at Lusikisiki and a politician Mncedi Gijana last year, will resume at the Mthatha High Court sitting in Lusikisiki this morning.
