School Bus Startup/Ride - Bus 2866 - 2010 IC CE - Beautiful November Day

Here you guys go with another ride on 2866. I felt like recording this ride because today is an absolutely beautiful day. Very odd weather for the 1st of November. It's sunny and in the 70's, warm enough to have the windows open.

As you guys can see, yet another change has happened with the radio in this bus. The radio was removed and remounted to a more common location, right above the windshield. The weight of the Kenwood TK-8150 turned out to be too much for the plastic panel, and on Thursday it cracked and the top of it broke off and came down. The shop ordered a new panel, but they temporarily secured the old one back up and moved the radio mounting bracket to somewhere more sturdy. The TK-8150 is slightly heavier than the NX-800 that was in this bus before, and that's what made the panel come down. It was a pretty bad spot to mount the radio in the first place. The place the shop moved it to, as I already said, is a much more common location that I have seen on many of the CE units on the fleet. It's a lot better for me, too, since now it's facing me, so I could get it on camera.

In the beginning, you'll get to see many other buses that drive the other high school routes. I'll add annotations pointing out significant buses.
