Seiko SARB017 Alpinist Review - A Gentleman's Sports Watch Classic - Best Automatic Under $400?

Today I review a classic in the making. Those of you who follow my channel, will undoubtedly know of my respect and admiration for Seiko's domestic specialities in the SARB line. To complete my insatiable appetite for these amazingly high quality but affordable little stunners, I review maybe the greatest of all the SARBs, the legendary "Alpinist" (SARB017). This is no ordinary SARB, designed for mountaineering in mind, or "Yamaotoko" a "mountain climbing Gentleman" in Japanese, this rather dressy number boasts a diver's water resistance, Diashock equipped upgraded movement, 50+ hours of power reserve and an inner rotating bezel compass all in a compact traditional size.
