Alright! It's time to alight from Amtrak 724 which we took earlier from Martinez Junction to begin our Black Friday Special! But now, it is time to begin Part 2 of our Black Friday Special, which as of now, we are now going to board the Sacramento Regional Transit Light Rail to take a journey to Historic Folsom. Calling at: 7th & I/County Center, 7th & K St. Rose of Lima Park, 7th & Capitol, 8th & O, Archives Plaza, 13th St, 16th St, 23rd St, 29th St, 39th St, 48th St, 59th St, University/65th St, Power Inn, College Greens, Watt/Manlove, Starfire, Tiber, Butterfield, Mather Field/Mills, Zinfandel, Cordova Town Center, Sunrise, Hazel, Iron Point, Glenn, and Historic Folsom, where this train will terminate. This was quite a good part of our special in Sacramento today! Because you wanna know what else? We even received a SPECIAL chance to take a look at one of Sacramento Regional Transit's 96 SPLENDID, BRILLIANT, SHINY, WONDERFUL, AMAZING, and FUTURISTIC 2015 40 foot Gillig BRT Plus CNG's on Route 30 J Street to California State University departing with a Cummins Westport ISL-G and Voith D864.6. And another fun and awesome part? We even got to see the Eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr Service Number 6 to Chicago Union Station Junction in Downtown Chicago, Illinois pulling into the station using P42DC's 78 and 58! The vehicle units we will be taking on our train to Historic Folsom are: CAF SRV-I's 223 and 225. Enjoy the journey!
