Pestana Porto Santo Beach Resort & Spa 4K

We visited Pestana Porto Santo all inclusive beach resort in Vila Baleira on Porto Santo Island, Madeira for a week. Located directly on what is probably the best beach in Portugal, the Praia do Porto Santo, the alleged 5-star resort also has 2 large pool areas, which are lined with lush Mediterranean gardens covering an area of ​​30,0000 m2.

It also offers 3 restaurants and bars as well as a SPA area with heated indoor pool, water jet areas, sauna, steam bath, hammam and a fitness center. The rooms are decorated in the blue tones of the sea and are equipped with flat screen TV and balcony.

There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can reserve an Italian restaurant and an oriental restaurant via an app. Here it was sometimes difficult to live up to the reputation of a Premium Beach & Resort because of the high number of guests at peak times, even if the staff made a real effort. But if you can make compromises and are looking for a good basis for a relaxing holiday, this is the place for you. The resort is very popular with our British friends.

By the way, Porto Santo Airport is four kilometers from the hotel. There are daily connections by plane and ferry between the island of Madeira (Funchal) and Porto Santo.
