Unreal Engine 5 | 'VOYAGE' | Cinematic shortfilm

Ever felt like your mind is drifting away while riding the train and listening to your favorite song? Yeah, me too. With this short I wanted to capture this magical feeling.

Voyage is a cinematic musical journey made entirely in Unreal Engine 5.0 / 5.1 with Lumen and Raytracing. Facial performance was done via the Live Link app. Fun fact: I ended up with 357 takes for all scenes. So yeah, half the production was just performance capture.

This project was a TON of fun because I finally had the chance to work with a super talented composer: Anton Israel. The musical piece was specifically produced for VOYAGE and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thanks again for the great work. (:
