ANIME NYC 2017 MASQUERADE: Happy 10th Anniversary, Miku! (BEST IN SHOW)

Ten years ago, the Vocaloid Miku Hatsune was developed by Crypton Future Media and quickly took the world by storm. Miku and the Kagamine twins are excited to celebrate her ten-year anniversary by putting together a performance for AnimeNYC! But can the twins keep it together long enough to make the skit a success?

this is the second thrustkateers performance, and our second time winning best in show at a convention together!!! our rin from otakon couldn't perform since she's busy pursuing her career in medicine, so our honorary thrustkateer tiff happily filled in and did amazing!
miku (lily) made the outfits for herself and len (ashe), and rin (tiff) made her own costume! len mixed all of the audio and made the improvised choreography for the twins! it was a ton of work on all of our parts, but we're so glad we were able to pull together in time! this was rather last-minute but despite being sleep-deprived, sick messes (len caught a head cold and lost his voice the day of the masquerade, rin didn't sleep at all due to finishing her costume, and miku being our leader was put under a ton of stress making sure everything was finished, kept in-tact, and flowed smoothly!)

the next thrust performance won't be until next year's summer, but we're happy to go out with a bang! and len's been putting together a vlog from this con, so please look forward to that!
