How to Write a Pantoum

Pantoums! What are they? How do we write them? I attempt to clear things up.

Here is my example:
To Explore Strange New Worlds
Space—the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.
I’ve been watching too much Star Trek,
I simply can’t get enough of it.

These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise;
with Commander Riker’s charming smile
(I simply can’t get enough of it)
set phasers to stunning am I right?

With Commander Riker’s charming smile
he looks at Counsellor Troi and he
sets phasers to stunning. Am I right
to think that they should get together?

He looks at Counsellor Troi and she
can see in his eyes that he likes
to think that they should get together
but there is always something in the way.

Can see in his eyes that he likes
a bit of female company
there is always something in the way
but it seems to happen anyway.

A bit of female company—
even Commander Data got some.
it seemed to happen everywhere
on federation starships

Even Commander Data has some
questions on where he fits in
on federation starships
learning what it is to be human.

Questioning where I fit in,
I’ve been watching too much Star Trek:
learning what it is to be human
through space—the final frontier.
