And Sentinel definitely proved that he was worthy of the name. The wise Prime was presumed lost forever aboard the Ark until he was discovered on the moon and revived by Optimus. Although it seemed like Sentinel would be fighting on behelf of the Autobots they would later discover that he was fighting for his planet's survival. And he would destroy anyone to fulfill his mission. Even his hand-picked successor Optimus. But he made 1 fatal mistake. After Optimus offered him the Matrix, Sentinel offered it back. But he forgot that the artifact not only had the power to revive Primes. It also granted its user immortality. Had he kept it in his possession and turned on Optimus at the right time he could've survived and saw his planet restored.
