Closing the mold and pouring molten aluminum for the Model Engine crankcase. The sand mold flask is closed. Next the furnace is lit and Aluminum is melted to 1200 degrees F. When ready the molten metal is poured into the molds. Finally the casting is broken out of the sand to see what the Casting looks like.
