My first time in London - awe and amazement of a German solo womantraveller visiting this city i.GB

This really is the first time, that I am visiting #london . Even though I have been teaching Shakespeare and British history for years, I never got to #travel to this buzzing English capital, before. I wasn't expecting to be so #overwhelmed by the amazing #historicsites like the #toweroflondon the #londonbridge #westminsterabbey and the #bigben .

Come with me, a #solowomantraveler from Germany, and #enjoy a #boattrip on the #riverthames, seeing and feeling all these amazing sights... I know, I only dipped my toe into London waters during this #daytrip and thus I will surely come back.

Sorry, thanks to some viewers, I found out that the beautiful building next to the Big Ben is the House of Parliament and not Westminster Abbey... sorry for the mistake 🙂 And also, it is the biggest clock within the clock tower that is called Big Ben. The Tower itself is called Elisabeth tower. 😀
