Growing a Greener World Episode 812 - The Spark in Sparta

Little did Robert and Suzy Currey know that an invitation to lunch in a small Georgia town would forever change their lives. But that’s exactly what happened. And now, in the town they’ve called home for the past 15 years, they’re changing the lives of many others in the poorest county in the state. The Currey’s early success with their backyard vegetable garden took off and continued to expand to new plots and neighboring properties. They needed help and locals needed jobs. That first garden on Elm Street started a spark that burns brighter with every season as they continue to expand the farm and create new opportunities for a town that’s now growing in more ways than just a garden.
