তিউনিসিয়া আফ্রিকার উত্তরতম দেশ। সরকারি নাম তিউনিসীয় প্রজাতন্ত্র। এটি ভূমধ্যসাগরের তীরে অবস্থিত। এর উত্তরে ও পূর্বে ভূমধ্যসাগর, পশ্চিমে আলজেরিয়া এবং দক্ষিণ-পূর্বে লিবিয়া। তিউনিসিয়ার একটি বিখ্যাত মসজিদের নাম কাইরুয়ান জামে মসজিদ। ৫০ হিজরি সালে সাহাবি হজরত মুয়াবিয়া (রা.)-এর অন্যতম সামরিক কমান্ডার উকবা বিন নাফি (রহ.) ৯ হাজার বর্গমিটার জায়গার ওপর মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করেন।

Tunisia is the northernmost country in Africa. The official name is the Republic of Tunisia. It is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east, Algeria to the west and Libya to the southeast.
