Pashchim Champaran: अधिकांशतः लोगों ने अपने जीवन में हल्दी का रंग पीला ही देखा होगा. कई बार तो लोग रंगों की जानकारी देने के लिए हल्दी रंग जैसे शब्द का इस्तेमाल करते हैं. ऐसे में अगर हम आपको बताएं कि हल्दी का रंग सिर्फ गहरा पीला ही नहीं, बल्कि काला भी होता है, तो आपको कैसा लगेगा. कहीं न कहीं आप इसे मजाक ही समझेंगे. लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है. हल्दी पीला ही नहीं, बल्कि काली भी होती है. जिसकी खेती चम्पारण में पहली बार नरकटियागंज प्रखंड के मुशहरवा गांव के किसान ने की है. उन्होंने काली हल्दी का 25 किलोग्राम बीज मंगवाया था.
