Former press secretary for Biden and communication director for Obama, Jen Psaki, appeared on Stephen Colbert's late-night show. Colbert curiously inquired about her aspirations for the country in the upcoming election. Like any sensible American, she expressed concern about the threat to democracy if President Biden were not to win. Indeed, as testified by Hope Hicks, a leader with a dictatorial mindset poses a significant threat to democracy in the country. Psaki's preference for Biden stems not solely from her professional association with him but also from her belief in his crucial role in preserving democracy in America.
