Описание к видео Five Most Common Food Plot Herbicides

Whether you're looking to control weeds and grasses in your existing food plot, or clear an area for a new one, sometimes your only choice is herbicides. But which do you use? In this video, we go over five of the most commonly used herbicides, and when to use them!

Glyphosate- Also known as Round-Up, but you're better off getting the off brand versions to save a ton of money. You'll need a product with 41% to completely kill everything in the area.

Sethoxydim- Also known as Poast, but has a few other names. Ask your local Co-Op for help if you can't find it. Kills grasses, and won't damage broadleaf plantings if used correctly.

Clethodim-Also known as Arrest. Same as Sethoxydim except better at controlling Johnsongrass.

2, 4-D- For broadleaf weeds and won't harm grasses if used correctly.

2, 4-DB- Also known as Burtyac. Same as 2, 4-D except it won't kill common varieties of clover and alfalfa if used correctly. Don't use if you have a mix that contains brassicas, chicory, or other broadleaf forbs.
