Obote In Bushenyi Part 2 : OBOTE TRASHES IBINGIRA

Former President Milton Obote’s meeting with Ankole elders followed the 4th Heroes’ Day celebrations of 27 May continued with him advising them on how to vote in the elections slated for 1985. Dr. Obote also warned them to guard against infiltration by anti-UPC rebels who might want to enter the region from Buganda. Notable among these was NRM’s Yoweri Museveni who eventually captured Mbarara!
Key among those vowing to crush NRA was Obote’s Security Minister Hon Cris Rwakasisi, who is now President Museveni’s Senior Presidential Advisor on security matters!
