whenever we ask why milky oil in catch can when you do a weekly check up or monthly and you found milky oil or milkshake looking oil in the oil catch can and wonder Is that engine needs rebuilding??
there are two possibilities
1. Engine head gasket blown and the coolant and the engine oil getting mixed to together, if the engine oil and the radiator coolant milky color too
2. Its normal, there is condensation in the crankcase just like you find coming out your tailpipes. Vaporizes, gets caught in the catch can with the oil, which is cold. The vaporized water condenses forming an emulsion and you get "milkshake"
