Ariyunda is a quite common and favourite sweet snack among Keralites. This made using Kerala brown rice, that you would get anywhere.

Let me show you how we can easily prepare this with just three main ingredients rice, grated coconut and jaggery.

*Ingredients*:
Matta Rice - 2 cups (400 gm)
Grated Coconut - 1 1/2 cups (200 gm)
Jaggery - 300 gm
Water - 1/2 cup
Cardamom & Cumin Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
(To make Cardamom & Cumin Powder, grind 10 cardamom and 1/2 tsp of cumin with 1 tbsp of sugar and make it as a fine powder)

*Tips*:
1. While melting Jaggery, no need to check for any consistency. Just make sure its all melted well.
2. Rolling the ladoo in the rice powder will help to remove any extra moisture in it.
