Otto Dobrindt conducts the Parlophon-Streich-Orchester in Paul Lincke's 'Hochzeitsreigen' (Wedding Dance), recorded in Berlin on 23 October 1929.

From German Wikipedia: Otto Dobrindt (24 August 1886 - 13 September 1963) was a German orchestra leader and film music composer.

Dobrindt began as a recording manager at the Carl Lindström AG record company, where he became chief recording manager. From 1925, he recorded his own productions in various styles, from swing to light classical, under various pseudonyms (including the Dobbri Saxophone Orchestra, Odeon Dance Orchestra, Vienna Bohème Orchestra, Dobbri, Robert Renard, Eddie Saxon, Frank Sandlers, Eric Harden, Götz Höhne, Horst Platen). The 'Orchester Otto Dobrindt' accompanied many Ufa stars on recordings, for example Lilian Harvey, Willy Fritsch and Hans Albers. Dobrindt conducted the recording of a potpourri of 'The Merry Widow' with Zarah Leander.

In 1935, Dobrindt took over the direction of the entertainment orchestra at Deutschlandsender. In the same year, he wrote the music for the film 'Alles hört auf mein Kommando.' He conducted numerous request concerts with the NSDAP party badge on his lapel.

From 1945, Dobrindt conducted the entertainment orchestra of Berlin Radio in the eastern sector of the city. He only gave up this post after the Berlin Wall was built in 1961. Dobrindt also conducted other orchestras in the GDR. For example, he recorded operetta cross-sections with the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra and the DEFA version of Die Fledermaus with the DEFA Symphony Orchestra in 1955.
