On tv, you can often see Jacque making appearances on MSNBC, NBC, CNN, BNC, Peacock, and many more. Jacque spent 10 years as host of two entertainment and lifestyle shows at NBC. She also worked on camera as part of the networks Red Carpet team, working the Emmys and the Golden Globes. Jacque landed her first tv job in Brunswick, GA as a reporter and anchor. From there she worked in Lexington, KY, and Houston, TX before becoming a network anchor at CNN's Headline News. Soon after, she moved to New York to work for BET as the anchor of a new collaboration between BET and CBS, The BET Nightly News. Ms. Reid has also made appearances and worked with CBS News, The View, Comedy Central, VH1, TV One, Morning Joe, AM Joy, The Doctors, CNN, and many more.
On radio, Jacque was a beloved member of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Radio Show, which ended it's 25 year run when Mr. Joyner retired in 2019. As a correspondent, Jacque produced and hosted her ‘Inside Her Story’ segments, which focused on women and women’s issues.
As a mentor, Jacque has worked with students at Clark Atlanta University and Old Westbury College for the past 8 years. In 2015, she launched The Reid Group, bringing 11 CAU students to New York for an intense, 8-week summer boot camp program.
Jacque is a proud Clark Atlanta University Alum and earned her graduate degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Jacque is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and Christian Cultural Center church. Jacque has also served on various boards including Black Girls Rock and The Black and Missing Foundation. And Jacque is the proud pet mom to dogs Zoe and Oscar.
