Tacoma Bilstein 5100 Front/Rear Suspension Install

Step-by-step instructions for installing Bilstein 5100 suspension install for a 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma. As lift kits go this is probably the best budget lift kit I have installed. The Bilstein 5100 shocks are a perfect all-around shock that has survived the test of time. This kit works with the Old Man Emu heavy-duty springs to give the front a 2.8" lift.

We also added SPC upper control arms to give us the much-needed adjustability to get back to the sock ride quality. They also have an upgrade greaseable ball and they're trademarked xAxis sealed flex joints

In the rear, you have a few different options from a spacer to added leaves, or a completely new leaf pack. We went with Icon added leaves to give us that one inch of lift to match the height of the front. If you're going to carry a lot of weight in the rear of your truck or change it over to a full-fledge overland rig I would suggest the new leaf pack.
