Huge CHIANG MAI Street Food Tour. Chiang Mai Gate and Phuak Night Markets

Chiang Mai street food can't be beat and if you're looking for a quick fix on your visit, there is no better place to start than the Phuak Night Market. Located on the North side of the old Town this small intimate market boasts some of the best food in Chiang Mai.

Here I sample:

Khao kha mu from the famous lady with a cowboy hat. Not my first time ever having the dish but definitely the best one. unfortunately, you won't get to see the lovely cowgirl these days as she only shows up on occasion to make sure everything is going well.

Suki Haeng from Suki Changphuak. I had never had this before and let me tell you, it is like heaven in a bowl. Suki Haeng is Thailand's take on a stir-fried "sukiyaki." It's a flavourful noodle dish made with thin glass noodles, marinated meat (chicken, pork or shrimp), a medley of fresh vegetables, and all tossed in a delicious savory-spicy suki sauce that featured fermented tofu.

Bua Loi - Imagine soft, chewy rice flour dumplings bobbing in a bath of sweet coconut milk. I added in some crushed ice, coconut meat and some mung bean noodles for the perfect dessert

But don't just stop at the Phuak Night Market. Head the the Chiang Mai gate Market on the south side of the old Town.

Here I sampled:

Sai Oua: Famous Northern Thai style sausages. Filled with minced pork, loads of herbs and spices and finished with a fiery red chili paste. LOVED these. I also tried two other sausages there that I wasn't a huge fan of.

Fried Chicken from KFG. The real home of finger lickin' good

Fresh Mango juice. What else do I need to say? It's my favourite fruit so this was a no brainer

Sweet Roti's: Of all the Roti's I have eaten in my life, I don't think I have ever had a sweet one. Until now! 1 chocolate roti with condensed mil and 1 eggs, banana and honey with condensed milk. Holy hell they are good.
