I've had this on my "Songs To Do" list for well over a year. I tried it shooting this in the studio and I just didn't like the way it turned out, so I shelved that video and told myself Ill shoot another. Of course all the other songs on the list took preference and this song kept getting pushed to the back of the line. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love winter beach because the beach and boardwalk becomes "locals only" and when I set up to shoot an acoustic vid on the beach I don't have to worry about bothering anyone or getting in their way (it's more like them getting in my way lol) If you don't know about sunset on the west coast especially in the winter, the California sun drops super fast. Like sunset only last maybe 20 to 30 minutes then its all of a sudden night time. I couldve waited to shoot this at nightfall but I didnt feel like running back to my place to get my light kit.
