Khalsa Aid International is supporting the World Food Programme's 'Healthy Kitchens' project in Yemen.

'Healthy Kitchens' employs community members - 80% of whom are women - to cook fresh daily school meals, using local produce. This helps provide vulnerable children with the nutritious food they need to learn, grow, and thrive, while also promoting women's economic empowerment.

This project directly aligns with the foundation of Khalsa Aid International; the Sikh concept of Langar, which is the principle of an open kitchen providing meals to everyone free of charge.
