A short film, “I shall never see you again, oh my beloved Kampuchea”, was directed and scripted by the late His Majesty King Sihanouk, filmed in North Korea in 1991, depicts the Vietnamese annexation of Kampuchea Krom through the eyes of a Khmer Princes and classical dancer living in the Vietnamese palace.

The Late King left a very powerful message for all of us Khmer, that is if we were to have land that our children and grandchildren could proudly called it their land. We, Khmer regardless of our political affiliation, either CPP or CNRP, we must take border issues to our hearts, because the ambitious Vietnamese will not stop with the annexation of Kampuchea Krom. Land concession to Vietnamese company for 99 years, is an example of how sneaky and ambitious it is. It shows how their ideology can penetrate and overtake our government, in this case CPP.

Thanks to our Khmer patriots and the opposition who have recognized this tactic and acted on time, the event which helped brought the scheme to a halt. But it won’t stop there and hope this film is a wake-up call for all Khmer!!!

ខ្សែភាពយន្ដនេះ ថតនៅប្រទេសកូរ៉េខាងជើង ក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៩១ ហើយបានយកមកបញ្ចាំងលើកទីមួយ ហើយតែម្តងគត់ នៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជា កាលពីយប់ថ្ងៃទី ២២ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ ១៩៩៣ គឺ ១ ថ្ងៃប៉ុណ្ណោះ មុនថ្ងៃបោះឆ្នោតរៀបចំដោយអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ នៅថ្ងៃទី ២៣ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៩៣។ នៅពេលនោះ ប្រជារាស្ត្រខ្មែរបានចាប់អារម្មណ៍យ៉ាងខ្លាំង ពីខ្លឹមសារនៃខ្សែភាពយន្តនេះ។
ខ្សែភាពយន្តនេះ មានចំណងជើង "ខ្ញំុអស់បានឃើញលោកទៀតហើយ ឱ! កម្ពុជា ជាទីស្រឡាញ់"។ ជាភាសាបារាំង គឺ "Je ne te verrai plus jamais, o mon bien-aimé Kampuchea".
