Meet Mridula Prathapan. She is an Electrical Engineer working at IBM Research in Rüschlikon. Mridula designs electronic circuits that operate at very low temperatures. These circuits are made of materials called semiconductors, which are important to build quantum computers. This new generation of computers has a great potential in the discovery of new medicines or renewable energy.
