[BTN Exclusicve Interview] Richard Gere's Pilgrim

June 20th 2011 Incheon International airport. The day Richard Gere arrives in Korea. Various TV and Newspaper reporters have setup their equipment at the arrival gate to film his arrival . It is the first time that the internationally acclaimed hollywood star Richard gere and his family visit korea.

Richard gere who has always been interested in korean buddhism states that this trip to korea is much more special because he is accompanied with his family. This time he did nat tour asia to promote his films but came to korea as a humble guest to experience the korean culture and buddhism and as a photographer.

The following day as a devout buddhist. Richard gere visited the Jogye temple the headquaters for the Jogye order korean buddhism. Richard gere has been practicing buddhism under the guidance of his holliness the dalai Lama for over 30 years. In a previous interview it has been said that he has always been interested in traditional korean temple the ancient traditions and practices of Korean Seon(Meditation) buddhism.
