Maintenance Instructions for Plastic Recycling Granulator

In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through two essential maintenance procedures: replacing the screen and replacing the blades. Regular maintenance is crucial for keeping your equipment in optimal condition, ensuring its longevity and efficiency. Let’s get started!

Replacing the Screen

1. Unlock the Side Latches: Begin by unlocking both side latches and opening the chamber door.
2. Loosen the Handwheel: Turn the handwheel to release the screen.
3. Remove and Replace the Screen: Take out the old screen and install the new one.
4. Secure the Screen: Use the provided tool to rotate the screen holder until the new screen is firmly in place.
5. Close and Lock: Align the screen, tighten the handwheel, close the chamber door, and lock the latches. Screen replacement is now complete!

Replacing the Blades

1. Loosen the Screws: Start by loosening the four screws securing the blades.
2. Open the Chamber: Switch the auto-position knob to manual mode and press the “open chamber” button until the chamber is fully open.
3. Inspect the Blades: Manually rotate the blades and inspect for any that need replacement.
4. Replace the Worn Blades: Loosen the screws on the worn blades, replace them with new ones, and tighten the screws securely.
5. Close the Chamber: Press the “close chamber” button and ensure the chamber door is properly shut.
