How Dung Beetles Evolved to Eat Poop

All dung beetles belong to the superfamily Scarabaeoidea, but only those in the Scarabaeinae group feed entirely on dung. These are the true dung beetles. Dung beetles have different feeding behaviours, such as rolling, tunnelling and burying, but how did they first evolve to eat poop?
