Pendant les mois de confinement, comme beaucoup d’entre nous, je me suis retrouvé devant un miroir à me demander ce que j’allais faire tout ce temps avec la personne que je voyais en face de moi. Dehors, la vie ordinaire s’était arrêtée et il fallait que chacun réinvente son quotidien. Je n’ai pas été très original, l’écran de mon ordinateur portable est rapidement devenu ma fenêtre sur le monde, et ma principale source d’inspiration. Mon studio lui, était mon havre de paix, isolé du monde et de ses problèmes, comme quand j’étais enfant et que je m’enfermais dans ma chambre pendant des heures pour jouer sur mon petit clavier électronique et chercher mes premières mélodies.

Haven, c'est ça, le refuge, quand l'échappée physique n'est pas possible, on s'évade en soi.

Ces 5 morceaux sont le résultat de ces journées calmes où plus rien ne semblait se passer dans mon quartier.

During the months of lockdown, like many of us, I found myself in front of a mirror wondering what I was going to do all this time with the person I saw in front of me. Outside, ordinary life had stopped and everyone had to reinvent their daily lives. I was not very original, my laptop screen quickly became my window on the world, and my main source of inspiration. My studio was my haven of peace, isolated from the world and its problems, like when I was a child and locked myself in my room for hours to play on my little electronic keyboard and look for my first melodies.

Haven, that's the refuge, when physical escape is not possible, you escape into yourself.

These 5 songs are the result of those calm days when nothing seemed to happen in my neighborhood.
