Meta has just released its rival app to twitter, and after briefly checking it out I have to say I am pretty excited.

The app may be basic, but it is a solid foundation to build on and the community appears to be extremely positive so far, especially in the writing community where I create most of my content.

Considering this is a brand-new app there is a lot of opportunity for smaller creators. It is not every day that a new social media app releases with this much hype surrounding it. The best thing to do is get a feel for what content the community likes to see and start posting.

Remember, at the end of the day social media is not about algorithms or views, it is about making genuine connections with people.
