✅WHAT DOES A WIRE STRIPPER MEAN?
Used for removing the protective coating of an electric wire to replace or repair the wire. It is a portable handheld tool that is also capable of stripping the end portions of an electric wire to connect them to other wires or terminals. A wire stripper is often considered an important tool for DIYers and professional engineers.

✅BASICS FOR STRIPING A WIRE:
Note that copper wire commonly comes in either solid or stranded forms. Stranded copper wire is slightly larger in diameter than solid wire of the same gauge.
A wire stripper has a series of crimp holes ( labeled holes ) that match the common wire gauges, typically 20 AWG -10 AWG indicating the size of the terminals. It is important to ensure that you use the correct set of making for the wire type you are crimping.
When you insert the wire into the proper hole and squeeze the tool’s handles, it precisely crimps the terminals without damaging the copper wire. The tool then removes the wire insulation using one of the two methods.
