Travelpro Maxlite 5 Carry-On Review | Affordable, Lightweight Spinner Luggage for Frequent Travelers

Travelpro makes durable suitcases for frequent travelers and business travelers. The Maxlite 5, which I own, is one of their simplest and most affordable models. They also offer the Crew collections and the Platinum Elite collection, which are more expensive, but also more durable.

The exterior fabric on the Maxlite 5 is polyester, which isn't the most durable fabric, but you have to remember that this carry-on is quite affordable. To compensate this, they've coated it with a water-repellent coating and added corner guards and skid guards for protection. Aside from a few scratches here and there, the fabric is still in a good shape after a year of use.

Although the Maxlite 5 is pretty basic features-wise, it's quite durable, well-made, and backed up by solid warranty. In the affordable price range, we believe that the Maxlite 5 carry-on is the best choice for a fabric suitcase. There are other options available from Delsey, Samsonite, or Ricardo, but they aren't as good as the Travelpro Maxlite 5.
