Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk and Families in Cavite and Rizal 07/11/2024

As the government continues to fulfill the vision of a ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ in uplifting the lives and welfare of every Filipino across the nation, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the provision of various assistance to farmers, fisherfolk and families in the Provinces of Cavite and Rizal in a ceremonial distribution in the City of Dasmariñas on July 11, 2024.

During the program, the President personally hands over financial aid to the Provincial Governments of Cavite and Rizal amounting to PhP12,360,00 and Php14,510,000, respectively, as well as PhP10,000 in cash assistance to ten (10) select beneficiaries from each of the two (2) Provinces.

Anchored on the whole-of-government approach in addressing the country’s challenges, various agencies distribute assistance to beneficiaries, including the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The Office of House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez also provides five (5) kilos of rice to each event attendee.
