「信義」Enchanted {Mahoutsukai no Yome AMV}

I'm finally done! I started this project properly back in January, but I've had this idea in my head for about a year now. Even before I watched the series. After watching a certain Shadowhunters episode which featured this song, I instantly fell in love and was on the hunt for the perfect series to match. In my opinion, the song can reflect a monstrous side to loving someone, or the thing being monstrous or inhuman (symbolised by the animal noises in the song, imo).

So, mahoutsukai no yome felt like a perfect fit.

I basically watched this series to edit this video, so I've definitely come a long way.

In summary, the video is about how Chise (the main girl) eventually grows to trust and love the mage Elias (with the skull head), even despite knowing she shouldn't - because he is far from human. I really wanted to bring out Elias' bestial side, and I hope that shows. I also put my own spin to the story, and by the end of the video you'll see what I mean. I love creating angst.

This was a really fulfilling project for me, given how much I love the song. So I'm happy to be finally done. :') This is also one of the longest amvs I will ever do (lol) I love the song so much that I edited the full thing.
